Not long ago, information spread that said that three games from the Batman Arkham series would be released together in a bundle for Nintendo Switch. The bundle, entitled Batman Arkham Collection, is rumored to contain the same games as the bundle previously released on consoles and PCs in 2018, namely Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight.
Information regarding the bundle was leaked after the French retailer – WTT, accidentally posted the bundle on their official website (currently it is no longer accessible). Not only that, WTT also wrote a number of information that seemed to be mere assumptions, such as the price (€59.99 or around Rp980 thousand) and the release date on 31 August. Previously, WTT also leaked the Switch version of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt before it was officially announced.
If the leak ends correctly, then Batman Arkham Collection will be the next Batman game to arrive on the Switch after Telltale's Batman game was released for the Switch first. Hopefully, the three games in Batman Arkham Collection can run smoothly considering the Switch itself has limited specifications.
2022 seems to be the year of Batman because apart from Batman Arkham Collection for Switch, another game set in the Batman universe, namely Gotham Knights, will also be released this year. Gotham Knight was developed by WB Games Montreal – the developer behind Arkham Origins and has four main characters, namely Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood.
Besides Gotham Knight, the new Batman film, The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves will also hit theaters on March 4.
