EmuParadise Clear All Game Collection???

In July, news emerged that Nintendo filed a lawsuit on the LoveRETRO and LoveROMs sites, which provide various emulators as well as their classic games without permission (in ROM form). No half-hearted, Nintendo asks for compensation of US $ 150,000 for each game shown, and US $ 2,000,000 for trademark infringement, with a total amount of up to 1.4 trillion rupiah. Not long after, Nintendo posted a copyright takedown notice on the GitHub site to shut down its browser-based Game Boy Advance (GBA) emulator.

The emergence of this case made EmuParadise, one of the sites that also provided games for various old gaming consoles such as NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, Dreamcast and others in ROM (read-only memory) and ISO forms, to take big steps to avoid the occurrence of similar claims. Now, the site that has been in operation for two decades is wiping out their entire collection of games! This was announced by the site's creator, known by the initials MasJ, in the form of an announcement entitled "EmuParadise is Changing".
In the announcement, it was stated that EmuParadise was no longer providing games that could be downloaded freely as usual. It should be noted that the creators did not specifically state that Nintendo was the cause of the elimination of all the games they owned. However, EmuParadise did get into trouble with the company in question (as well as with other parties) where in 2017, all Nintendo's first-party titles were removed from the site. Even so, MasJ himself mentioned that they still only provide emulators (not the ROM) and open a community forum.

Although many people regret the decision, technically EmuParadise has indeed committed copyright infringement, so they do not have valid legal rights. Moreover, although the games they provide can be obtained free of charge, EmuParadise still makes a profit through selling advertising space.

While there are many other sites that provide similar services, removing all games from the EmuParadise site is a huge blow to retro titles lovers. Not only does it have a very wide collection, this site is known for its relatively high security, because ROM / ISOs offered by other sites are often accompanied by various advertisements to dangerous viruses.
