Resident Evil Village is one of the most anticipated horror games for this year's newest console. Capcom has announced that they will be holding a Resident Evil 8 Showcase on January 21.

In the announcement posted via their official Twitter account, they confirmed the "first-ever gameplay" of the company's latest horror game.

Quoted from GameRant, a leaker and business analyst named Roberto Serrano shared several lists that Capcom claimed to show off during the Showcase.

The first thing to reveal was the gameplay demo on the PS5. Furthermore, fans can also find out the pre-order price as well as the game's release date. An exclusive PlayStation demo will also be showcased at the upcoming Showcase.

Capcom still hasn't confirmed the leak, but at least they have agreed on the gameplay that will be showcased.
Not only that, Capcom is expected to reveal the close beta of the Resident Evil Saga multiplayer beta. The initial teaser shared by Capcom showed a "charming" female character despite (predictably) being creepy.

There are several short actions and terrifying new enemy characters.

The combination of 4K HDR support, Ray Tracing, and Tempest 3D AudioTech on the PS5 is guaranteed to enhance the horror aura of Resident Evil Village.
The game will be released in 2021 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / Series S, and PC.

Capcom has indicated that the game may also come to PS4 or Xbox One, although this is not yet confirmed. Just like Resident Evil 7 the game will be developed on the RE Engine and played in first person.

Capcom gave a keyword that Resident Evil Village will present "recognizable faces" and "new enemies". To translate some of the keywords that have been revealed by Capcom, we can find out more details on the Resident Evil Village Showcase soon.
