1. Dauntless
Dauntless is a free-to-play co-op action RPG game currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The developer says that the mobile version of the game is currently in the early concept stage and did not provide an exact timeline for when it will be released.
In Dauntless, you take the position of an assassin, and your job is to defeat the monsters known as giants. You can hunt alone or in collaboration with up to three other assassins. With each kill, you get crafting materials which you can then use to craft weapons to take on even more terrifying monsters.
Like the console and PC versions, Dauntless on Android will likely be a free game that requires a constant internet connection.
2. League of Legends: Wild Rift
Next, the best android game for 2021 is the mobile game that has been rumored for a long time from Riot Games. League of Legends: Wild Rift was announced along with a number of new releases during League of Legends' tenth anniversary celebrations. It features the same 5v5 MOBA gameplay as its PC counterpart, with tweaks to make it more mobile-friendly.
The customization will require rebuilding the game from scratch, so not all champions will be available at launch. About 40 champions will be available at launch, but many will have their abilities changed. The match time will also be cut to 15-18 minutes.
League of Legends is currently one of the most popular games in the world, making Wild Rift one of the most anticipated upcoming Android games. It will enter beta in certain regions in late 2019, with a full mobile (and console) rollout expected sometime in 2020.
3. Plants vs. Zombies 3
A new game in the Plants vs. Zombies is coming to Android. This is called Plants vs. Zombies 3, and it's already being launched softly in certain regions around the world. Unlike previous titles, this one tends to be portrait to allow for more mobile-friendly one-handed play.
If you've somehow never heard of it, Plants vs. Zombies is basically an action-strategy game where you fight large and evil zombies with your army of plants, each of which has unique attack or defense abilities. PvZ 3 will abandon iconic 2D graphics for full 3D models, but will retain the same overall aesthetic.
This game is predicted to be the best Android game in 2021 to come. However, there's no word on when the game will officially release, but we know it will be a free-to-play title with microtransactions.
4. The Witcher: Monster Slayer
Fan-favorite series The Witcher got a hit Netflix show earlier this year, and now it's time for a new mobile game. The titles are developed by Spokko, who CD Projekt bought two years ago specifically to work on new mobile games.
We now know that the game will put you in the shoes of an early Magician (hundreds of years before Geralt of Rivia) to travel around the realm of hunting real monsters. That's right, The Witcher is getting Pokémon Go treatment.
The game will be the best Android game of 2021 as it promises console-quality visuals and a powerful crafting system for creating potions, traps, and more. As of now there has been no confirmed release date, but you can learn more on the official website linked below.
